1. Who We Are
The Inference Hub is a community for AI practitioners operated by TensorOps Inc ("TensorOps", "we", "us"). TensorOps Inc is the data controller for personal data collected through theinferencehub.com, including sign-ups for the community and for the iPhone giveaway described in our Giveaway Terms.
2. What We Collect
- Registration data — what you enter in the sign-up form: first and last name, work email, company, and role, plus the optional profile answers (AI production stage, biggest blocker, cloud provider, model sources, company size) and whether you opted to share your details with event co-hosts.
- Giveaway data — if you win a draw, the delivery details and eligibility confirmations needed to send you the prize.
- Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and to keep the site running.
3. How We Use Your Data
By signing up, you agree that we use your data to:
- operate The Inference Hub community, including adding you to our mailing lists and emailing you about events, talks, recordings, giveaways, and other community updates;
- administer the iPhone giveaway — running draws, contacting winners, and delivering prizes;
- tailor community programming, such as matching talks, content, and introductions to your role and stack based on your profile answers;
- produce aggregated, non-identifying research and statistics about the community (for example, "40% of members run on AWS");
- secure the site, prevent fraud and duplicate giveaway entries, and comply with legal obligations.
For people in the EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions, our legal bases are: performance of our agreement with you (running the community and giveaway you signed up for), your consent (co-host sharing and, where required, email marketing), and our legitimate interests (community analytics, security, fraud prevention). Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
4. Sharing With Partners
The Inference Hub is run together with partner organizations, and we may share your registration data with them:
- Event co-hosts — if you tick the co-host box on the sign-up form (or on a specific event registration), we share your details with the organizations co-hosting that event so they can follow up with you.
- Community partners — organizations that sponsor, host, or help run The Inference Hub (for example, cloud providers, venues, and co-organizers). We may share your name, email, company, and role with them so they can support community programming and contact you about relevant events, content, and offerings. Partners receiving your data must handle it under confidentiality and data-protection terms, and you can opt out of partner sharing at any time (see Section 8).
- Service providers — vendors that process data on our instructions, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and event platforms (for example, Luma for event RSVPs, which has its own privacy policy).
- Legal and corporate — where required by law, to enforce our terms, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer involving TensorOps Inc.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International Transfers
The Inference Hub is a global community; your data may be stored and processed in the United States and other countries where we, our partners, or our service providers operate. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We keep your registration data for as long as you are a community member. If you unsubscribe and ask us to delete your data, we remove it except for the minimal records we must keep for legal, tax, or giveaway-audit purposes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict our processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address in Section 10.
8. Opting Out
You can leave the mailing list via the unsubscribe link in any email. To opt out of partner sharing — or to withdraw co-host sharing consent — email us and we will stop sharing your data going forward and, where feasible, ask partners who already received it to delete it. Opting out does not remove you from giveaway draws you have already entered.
9. Age Limit and Changes
The community and giveaway are intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. We may update this policy from time to time — material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email — and continued membership after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
